About the Event

Woman of Merit, a speaker event highlighting relevant topics for the working woman, will feature a special panel event with host Audrey Sileci on 'Giving Back to Your Community' presented by Letícia Stables and Natalie Melaré.

Audrey has five years of nonprofit experience in São Paulo, which includes three years at one of AmSoc’s supported charities, ABBA. She holds a BA in Psychology from Colorado College, is completing a degree in Pedagogy at a Brazilian university, and is currently the Coordinator of Education Initiatives at 27 Million International in Mexico City.

Letícia is the founder and president of The Justice Movement. She also works as a consultant, speaker and specialist in human rights, social corporate responsibility, and global governance. She has solid experience working with vulnerable women in Brazil and she is an advocate for women's rights and empowerment. Letícia is also an experienced professional with 11 years experience working in the scientific and corporate areas in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sector in Brazil and abroad.

Natalie is a passionate social entrepreneur with several international degrees and extension programs in international relations, fashion merchandise and entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, and impact investing. In 2018, she founded Instituto Devolver, a nonprofit organization that supports underprivileged children in Brazil. Since its founding three years ago, Instituto Devolver has raised and donated over R$1.2 million in products and supported over 12,000 socially vulnerable Brazilian children.

You must RSVP to receive the Zoom meeting link, which will open at 7:30pm; presentation starts at 7:45pm.

We are raising funds for The American Society of São Paulo's CAC Pizza Night, which provides a special dinner treat for one of three charities supported by The American Society: ABBA, Lar Tia Edna and Casa Limiar. Each time our account balance reaches over R$300, we transfer to the CAC Pizza Night fund, and later send a special thank you email out to all our event attendees so they can see how much these kids enjoy their group donation.
