The Idea Behind WomenWork

WomenWork started as a vague idea sketched out on napkins by two good friends enjoying a tasty beer (or two!) The resulting concept was simple enough: connect women of various backgrounds by sharing knowledge and experience. What grew from that became so much bigger than the original idea.

No matter where you live, you can make your situation better by helping those around you. This doesn't apply to only your inner circle; contributing to the greater community has benefits as well.

Each year, the American Society of São Paulo hosts the Angel Party, which helps over 200 underprivileged children in the São Paulo area. As part of our social responsibility, WomenWork teams up with the Angel Party to sponsor girls at their event. All proceeds from the entrance fees you pay to attend our various events go directly to their sponsorship.

Since our launch in May 2018, we've sponsored 4 girls and raised over R$2.200 for their sponsorship. We could not have done this without the help of all the amazing women who have attended or hosted our events over the years. Thank you!
